The Role
- Deliver high-quality small-animal care across wellness, sick visits, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue surgery
- Perform thorough exams, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, and communicate clearly with clients about next steps and preventive care
- Utilize on-site imaging and lab capabilities to manage cases efficiently
- Provide anesthesia and pain management aligned with current best practices
- Collaborate with RVTs and veterinary assistants; contribute to a positive, team-centered environment
- Support a low-stress handling culture and help maintain high medical and safety standards
- Full-time or part-time scheduling; weekday coverage with some evenings and limited Saturday hours; no Sunday hours

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution (or equivalent)
- License to practice veterinary medicine in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA license eligibility
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to high medical and ethical standards
- Experience with routine surgery and dentistry preferred; all experience levels considered
