The Role
- Perform comprehensive patient exams, medical work-ups, and client education.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures utilizing in-house laboratory testing and digital radiography.
- Perform routine and elective surgeries and dental procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold controlled substance protocols.
- Prescribe and manage medications through the on-site pharmacy.
- Collaborate closely with the hospital team to promote efficiency and high standards of care.
- Participate in case monitoring and, when applicable, daily rounds.
- Contribute to ongoing protocol evaluation and practice improvements.

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution.
- Current license (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Oregon.
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain and maintain).
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary practice.
- Strong clinical, surgical, and dental skills with excellent communication and teamwork.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform duties that may require bending, kneeling, or standing for extended periods.
- Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient and client care.
