The Role
- Lead day-to-day hospital operations to deliver excellent patient care and an outstanding client experience
- Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, and coach the client care and clinical support teams; foster a positive, high-accountability culture
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, P&L review, revenue cycle, expense management, and action planning to meet targets
- Elevate client service: guide service standards, monitor feedback, and ensure timely, professional responses
- Manage operational workflows: inventory, scheduling, facilities upkeep, and equipment maintenance
- Implement and refine policies and SOPs to drive efficiency, consistency, and compliance
- Coordinate marketing, community outreach, and client retention initiatives, including social channels and local events
- Ensure regulatory adherence, including OSHA and record-keeping standards, and maintain data accuracy and confidentiality
- Champion effective use of practice software and reporting tools; partner with IT support as needed
- Full-time position; weekday schedule with some Saturday and occasional evening coverage based on client demand

Requirements
- 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting
- Demonstrated experience with P&L management, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Proven success leading teams, developing talent, and driving accountability
- Strong client service mindset and excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with practice management software and operational reporting tools
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; occasional lifting and physical tasks as needed
- License to practice in Massachusetts (as applicable to the role) and eligibility to work in the United States
