The Role
- Provide high-quality primary and preventive care, including wellness exams, vaccinations, and health certificates
- Manage sick and urgent cases with the support of in-clinic diagnostics and imaging
- Perform general and elective surgery with appropriate anesthesia protocols and monitoring
- Deliver dental care, including use of dental radiographs
- Utilize endoscopy and echocardiography resources as case-appropriate
- Oversee inpatient care and collaborate closely with licensed technicians and support staff
- Communicate clearly with clients, provide education, and maintain thorough medical records
- Contribute to a positive, team-first culture and uphold AAHA standards
- Availability for some weekday evening and Saturday shifts

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Active Florida veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- USDA accreditation for health certificates preferred or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency in general practice fundamentals, anesthesia, basic surgery, and dentistry
- Strong communication, client education, and teamwork skills
