The Hospital

- Patient- and client-centered approach using scheduled appointments while accommodating walk-ins.
- Stable daytime operations Monday through Friday with limited Saturday hours and closed on Sundays.
- Access to interpretation services to support communication with diverse clients.

The Role
- Provide high-quality small animal care across wellness, sick visits and urgent day-time needs.
- Perform diagnostics and procedures including physical exams, lab interpretation, radiograph review and dental care.
- Conduct general soft-tissue surgery and basic orthopedic procedures as comfortable.
- Develop treatment plans, maintain accurate medical records and deliver clear client communication.
- Collaborate with technicians and support staff to ensure efficient, compassionate patient flow.
- Select per diem shifts within typical hospital operating hours, including potential limited Saturday coverage; no Sunday hours.

Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Active Florida veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Strong clinical, communication and teamwork skills
