Veterinarian

An established, progressive small animal and urgent care practice in Ingram, Texas is seeking an experienced DVM to step into a Senior Associate / Lead Veterinarian position.

This opportunity is ideal for a doctor who enjoys a predominantly clinical role but is also ready to mentor colleagues and help guide a collaborative veterinary team.

Our exclusive client's caseload is primarily small animal and urgent care, with occasional pocket pets seen as part of their services.

About the Role

  • You will work alongside a team of veterinarians and experienced support staff in a busy, well-equipped hospital.
  • This position is largely patient-focused, while also offering leadership influence without heavy administrative burden.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality small animal and urgent care medicine
  • Mentoring and supporting fellow DVMs
  • Assisting team members with clinical development and case support
  • Collaborating with leadership to maintain consistent medical standards
  • This role allows you to remain hands-on with cases while contributing meaningfully to the growth and direction of the hospital.

Fully equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment tools to support excellent patient care, including:

  • Ultrasound
  • Digital radiography (body and dental)

Schedule

  • Full time role working
  • 4 days mid-week with occasional weekends on rotational basis:
  • Monday - Friday: 8 AM 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8 AM 1:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $120,000 $150,000 (based on experience and leadership scope)

About You

  • DVM degree from an accredited program
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Texas
