The Opportunity

As an Associate Veterinarian, you'll manage a varied companion animal caseload encompassing preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery and ongoing medical case management.

Responsibilities will include:

•Providing comprehensive wellness and medical examinations
•Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions
•Developing individualized diagnostic and treatment plans
•Performing routine soft tissue surgery
•Providing comprehensive dental care
•Interpreting diagnostic results
•Managing chronic and senior pet conditions
•Supporting preventative healthcare programs
•Educating clients on treatment options and long-term healthcare
•Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records
•Collaborating closely with veterinarians, technicians and support staff
•Contributing to continued improvements in clinical standards and patient care

There is excellent scope to develop individual interests in areas such as internal medicine, surgery, dentistry or preventative care, with continuing education and professional development actively supported.

Requirements

•Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification
•Florida veterinary license or eligibility to obtain
•Successful completion of the NAVLE
•Eligibility to work in the United States
•Strong general medicine and diagnostic skills
•Excellent client communication
•Collaborative and team-focused approach
•Commitment to providing high-quality companion animal medicine
