Global Talent Partners is excited to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced Veterinarian to step into a Lead Veterinarian position with a progressive, multi-doctor companion animal hospital in the Carlsbad, California area.

Offering a salary of $130,000$180,000, this position is ideal for a veterinarian who wants to remain actively involved in clinical practice while taking the next step into leadership. You'll combine your own medical and surgical caseload with responsibility for mentorship, clinical standards and the continued development of the veterinary team.

About the Practice

This established companion animal hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care within a collaborative multi-doctor environment.

The veterinary team includes Lead and Associate Veterinarians supported by Registered Veterinary Technicians, veterinary assistants and an experienced hospital management team. Doctors also have access to consultation with board-certified specialists in areas including radiology and cardiology, providing valuable additional expertise when managing more challenging cases.

As Lead Veterinarian, you'll remain a practising clinician while taking on greater responsibility for the medical direction and development of the hospital.

Your leadership responsibilities will include:

•Mentoring and supporting Associate Veterinarians
•Encouraging collaborative case discussion
•Helping maintain consistently high clinical standards
•Supporting the professional development of the veterinary team
•Acting as a clinical resource for colleagues
•Promoting effective communication across the hospital
•Working closely with hospital management
•Helping develop clinical protocols and best practices
•Supporting a positive and collaborative hospital culture
•Contributing to the longer-term clinical direction of the practice

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys helping colleagues develop but does not want to move away from hands-on medicine.

The Clinical Role
