Global Talent Partners is working with a well-established 24/7 emergency and critical care hospital in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join its expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys fast-paced emergency medicine and is looking to work within a supportive, collaborative clinical environment with strong referral caseload and excellent diagnostic support.

The hospital has been serving the region for over two decades and operates as a dedicated emergency and critical care facility with a large referral base from primary care practices across the surrounding area, ensuring a varied and engaging caseload.

The Hospital

* 24/7 dedicated emergency and critical care service
* Large referral network across the region
* Experienced veterinary and nursing team
* Well-equipped facility with digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, transfusion capability, and surgical facilities
* Strong focus on teamwork and clinical support

The Role

* Manage emergency and critical care cases independently
* Diagnose and treat a wide range of emergency presentations
* Work closely with experienced RVTs and clinical support staff
* Communicate effectively with clients and referring veterinarians
* Contribute to a collaborative, high-standard clinical environment

Requirements

* Eligible for veterinary licensure in Nova Scotia
* Experience in emergency medicine preferred
* Strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills
* Confident working independently in an emergency setting
* Strong communication and teamwork approach

Package

* $170,000 - $250,000+ CAD depending on experience
