The Role
- Provide triage, stabilization, and comprehensive emergency examinations
- Perform diagnostic workups, interpret results, and create treatment plans
- Conduct emergency and soft-tissue procedures and manage anesthesia with monitoring
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about options and care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and uphold controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams; lead efficient patient flow
- Participate in daily rounds, quality standards, and protocol refinement with clinical leadership
- Varied schedule with day, overnight, and weekend shifts to support 24/7 coverage

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible Colorado veterinary license
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain and maintain)
- 1+ years of experience in emergency practice preferred
- Strong diagnostic, procedural, and surgical skills with a team-first mindset
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to high-quality, compassionate care
- Ability to meet the physical demands of emergency practice, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Authorization to work in the United States
