The Role
- Provide emergency and critical care for small animal patients in a 24/7 hospital
- Triage, stabilize, and manage urgent and emergent cases, including ICU-level care
- Perform and interpret diagnostics, including radiography, ultrasound, EKG, and laboratory testing
- Execute emergency procedures and soft-tissue surgeries as appropriate
- Develop treatment plans, communicate estimates, and maintain thorough medical records
- Collaborate closely with general practice clinicians for case continuity and follow-up care
- Lead and mentor support staff to ensure efficient, compassionate patient care
- Choose from overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts to fit scheduling preferences

Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Current Arizona veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior emergency experience or rotating internship strongly preferred
- Proficiency in triage, stabilization, anesthesia, and emergency procedures
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive on a collaborative team
- Comfort with overnight/weekend/holiday coverage in a 24/7 environment
