- Multidisciplinary team including internal medicine, surgery, neurology, medical oncology, and rehabilitation

The Role
- Provide triage, stabilization, and ongoing management for emergency and critical patients
- Perform emergency procedures and surgeries appropriate to experience and hospital protocols
- Utilize in-house diagnostics and advanced imaging to guide rapid clinical decisions
- Collaborate closely with specialty services to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care
- Manage hospitalized cases with attentive communication and thorough medical records
- Contribute to a positive team culture by mentoring support staff and engaging in case rounds
- Participate in a rotating schedule that may include evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a commitment to team-based care
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, emergency-capable environment
