The Role - Provide emergency and critical care for small animal patients in a high-acuity, referral-based setting - Triage, stabilize, diagnose, and manage urgent and emergent presentations - Perform common emergency procedures and coordinate surgical case flow as needed - Utilize on-site imaging and in-house lab resources to guide rapid, evidence-based decisions - Oversee and manage ICU cases, including advanced monitoring and supportive therapies - Collaborate with specialists to deliver comprehensive, integrated care - Communicate clearly with pet owners and referring veterinarians - Support and mentor technical staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement - Shifts may include days, swings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
