The Role
- Provide emergency and urgent care for walk-ins and referrals, from triage and stabilization through discharge
- Perform comprehensive exams, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, and communicate clearly with clients and referring veterinarians
- Utilize on-site imaging and laboratory diagnostics; perform emergency procedures and surgery as appropriate
- Oversee hospitalized cases and participate in daily rounds to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate closely with specialists and coach support staff to promote efficiency and excellent patient care
- Work a rotating schedule that includes day and overnight shifts

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Active Arizona veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary emergency setting
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Comfortable with a rotating schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
