Role Responsibilities

•Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care services to canine and feline patients
•Assess, stabilize, diagnose, and manage urgent and life-threatening conditions
•Manage complex medical and surgical cases from initial presentation through treatment
•Perform emergency procedures and provide appropriate perioperative care
•Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and in-house laboratory capabilities to support clinical decision-making
•Collaborate with specialty teams and other members of the hospital's clinical team
•Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis, and ongoing care
•Contribute to clinical protocol development, quality improvement, and team training
•Participate in continuing education and maintain current knowledge of emergency and critical care medicine

Qualifications

•DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited program
•Florida veterinary licensure or eligibility for licensure
•NAVLE completion
•Emergency or critical care experience preferred
•Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
