The Role
- Provide urgent and emergency care for dogs and cats in a 24/7 environment, including triage, stabilization, diagnostics, and treatment
- Utilize advanced imaging and diagnostics to guide case management
- Perform emergency procedures and collaborate with surgical and specialty services as needed
- Communicate clearly with clients, develop treatment plans, and ensure thorough medical documentation
- Partner with a skilled technical team and mentor where appropriate; collaborate with the on-site boarding team for medical escalations when required
- Contribute to a rotating schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; full-time preferred, part-time considered

Requirements
- DVM/VMD or equivalent from an accredited institution
- License to practice in Texas, or eligibility to obtain
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team-first mindset
- Comfort with fast-paced emergency caseloads and variable hours
- Commitment to high standards of care and low-stress handling
