Global Talent Partners is working with a well-established, privately owned veterinary hospital in Ottawa that is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join its growing clinical team.

This opportunity is best suited to a veterinarian with at least 2 years of dedicated emergency experience or completion of a rotating internship with strong emergency exposure, who is looking to develop further within a structured, supportive, and well-resourced emergency setting.

The hospital operates a dedicated emergency service within a modern facility and offers a collaborative team culture where veterinarians are supported by experienced RVTs and support staff, enabling efficient case management and high standards of patient care.

The Role

* Provide emergency and urgent care for small animal patients
* Manage a varied emergency caseload with appropriate clinical autonomy
* Work closely with a skilled technical and veterinary team
* Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients during critical cases
* Contribute to a structured and well-supported emergency service workflow

Requirements

* DVM degree with eligibility for licensure in Ontario
* Minimum 2 years of dedicated emergency experience or completion of a rotating internship with strong ER exposure
* Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
* Calm and confident approach in fast-paced environments
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends

Compensation & Benefits

* Competitive salary $170,000 - $220,000 depending on experience
* Three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating schedule
