A privately owned, cooperative urgent care veterinary clinic in London, Ontario is actively seeking 2-3 experienced Emergency/Urgent Care Veterinarians to join their growing team.

• This opportunity has arisen due to ongoing plans to expand into a 24/7 operation, including a move to a larger facility in the fall.
• The clinic currently operates from Friday 6 p.m. to Monday 6 a.m., offering after-hours care to the local community.

With an established reputation, experienced support staff, and strong collaborative ties with local GP clinics, this is a fantastic opportunity for a veterinarian ready to take on diverse and rewarding emergency caseloads.

About the Clinic

• Privately owned cooperative with 13 GP practice partners
• Urgent care/after-hours only clinic (not a first opinion practice)
• Established 2 years ago with steady growth and high retention
• Highly skilled support team (RVTs, VAs, CSRs) - most have been on board since opening
• Strong mentorship culture
• Relocating to a larger, modern facility this fall with improved access

Facilities & Equipment

• 4 exam rooms + comfort room
• ICU treatment/lab area, open-concept treatment space
• Digital X-ray, ultrasound, surgical suite, and full in-house lab
• Onsite parking and nearby amenities (restaurants, public transit access, accommodations)

The Role

• Urgent/Emergency cases only - no routine appointments
• Triage-based "walk-in" model (10-20 cases per shift depending on acuity)
• 12-hour rotating shifts (day and overnight coverage required)
• Must be confident in managing emergencies independently

Key procedures:

• C-sections, exploratory surgeries, unblocking cats, HGE, seizures, respiratory distress cases, etc.
• Open to new graduates only if exceptionally strong; must have full, unrestricted license to practice in Ontario
• Full license required
