The Role

As Emergency & Critical Care Department Head, you will combine clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities, helping to shape the future of the emergency service.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading the Emergency & Critical Care team
• Mentoring emergency clinicians, interns and developing veterinarians
• Working closely with the Medical Director and hospital leadership
• Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and scheduling
• Developing medical protocols and clinical standards
• Supporting technician training and education
• Building relationships with referring veterinary practices
• Driving operational efficiency and departmental growth
• Promoting collaboration across multiple specialist departments
