Associate Veterinarian

An established small animal practice serving the Brantford, Burford and Paris communities is looking to welcome a DVM to its collaborative and experienced team.

Salary: $110,000 to $140,000

About the Practice

The hospital is a full service companion animal practice providing wellness care, surgery, dentistry, preventative medicine, pain management, diagnostic imaging and in-house diagnostics. The clinic is equipped with:

* Fully equipped in-house laboratory for bloodwork, urinalysis and fecal testing
* Digital radiography
* Ultrasound
* Ear and skin cytology diagnostics
* Modern surgical and dental facilities
* Comprehensive preventative and medical care services

Having advanced diagnostics on site allows the team to make timely clinical decisions and develop treatment plans without unnecessary delays.

The Team

You will work alongside experienced veterinarians supported by a skilled group of Registered Veterinary Technicians, veterinary technicians and dedicated support staff. The leadership team places a strong emphasis on mentorship, teamwork and professional development, with veterinarians regularly participating in continuing education to stay current with advances in veterinary medicine.

The practice has developed long standing relationships with generations of local families, creating a loyal client base that values high quality medicine and collaborative decision making.

Requirements

* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
* Eligible for a full licence to practice veterinary medicine in Ontario
* Strong communication and client relationship skills
* A collaborative approach to patient care
* Interest in practicing high quality companion animal medicine
