Key Responsibilities:

• Perform physical exams, diagnose, and develop treatment plans
• Provide preventative care: vaccinations, parasite control, wellness exams
• Perform routine surgical procedures
• Interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
• Prescribe medications and advise on nutrition and lifestyle
• Communicate effectively with clients
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow hospital protocols

Qualifications:

• DVM/VMD or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in the state
• DEA license or eligible for DEA registration
• Strong decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or restrain animals
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive movements
