Our client's thriving small animal hospital in Santa Fe, TX is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team.This role is ideal for an experienced DVM who enjoys both soft tissue surgery and client appointments, with an established caseload ready from day one.

For ambitious applicants, there are genuine prospects to step into a Lead Veterinarian role or partnership track in this family-run, future-focused practice.


Practice Highlights

• Well-established general practice offering preventative care, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery

Modern facility with:

• Digital X-ray
• In-house lab
• Dental radiography
• Ultrasound
• Laser therapy
• Dedicated surgical suite with heated tables & laser surgery equipment
• Experienced, supportive veterinary technicians (2.5 per doctor)
• Digital medical records + AI scribe available
• Collaborative team including senior DVMs with 20+ years of experience
• No overnight or emergency shiftsonly occasional Saturdays (12 per month)
• Room to expand services (urgent care, exotics, or other clinical interests welcomed)
• Access to sister practices for mentorship in advanced procedures (orthopedics, neurosurgery, ER care)

The Role

• Schedule: 7:30am5:30pm (MonFri) + 8am12pm on occasional Saturdays
• 4-day workweek + only 12 Saturdays per month
• Protected lunch breaks (11.5 hrs daily)
• 30-minute appointment slots
• Dedicated surgery day(s) each week

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary $140K$160K (DOE)
• Production bonuses with no negative accrual (bi-weekly payout)
• Generous PTO (does not affect production) + 3 days PTO for CE

Who We're Looking For

• Licensed (or eligible) Veterinarian in Texas
• Proficient in routine soft tissue surgery & general medicine
