The Role
- Manage a diverse surgical caseload with a focus on soft tissue and orthopedic procedures
- Partner closely with emergency and specialty colleagues to guide diagnostics, perioperative plans, and follow-up care
- Provide consultations and clear communication to clients and referring veterinarians
- Contribute to morning rounds, case reviews, and ongoing quality-improvement initiatives
- Mentor technicians, interns, and visiting trainees in a teaching-friendly environment

Requirements
- DVM or VMD (or equivalent)
- Board-certified by ACVS, or has completed an ACVS-approved residency
- Eligible for and able to obtain a California veterinary license prior to start
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-collaboration skills
