The Role
- Lead medical quality and standards across emergency and specialty services while maintaining a clinical caseload in your own specialty; open to all board-certified or residency-trained disciplines
- Mentor and develop doctors and technicians; coordinate medical rounds, case reviews, and in-hospital education
- Partner with hospital leadership on service-line strategy, workflow optimization, and resource planning
- Strengthen referring veterinarian relationships and ensure clear, timely client communication
- Uphold accreditation standards and drive continuous improvement in patient care and safety
- Champion a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture

Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Board-certified or residency trained in a recognized veterinary specialty
- Eligible for, and able to obtain, a California veterinary license and DEA registration
- Authorized to work in the United States
