The Role
- Lead and manage an Internal Medicine caseload, including complex referral cases
- Develop thorough diagnostic plans, leveraging on-site imaging and collaborative specialty input
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations with clear client communication
- Coordinate closely with ER/ICU, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology and Rehabilitation teams
- Create and adjust evidence-based treatment plans and provide ongoing case oversight
- Communicate with referring veterinarians to ensure continuity of care
- Contribute to medical rounds, quality improvement initiatives and team mentorship

Requirements
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
- Board certification in Small Animal Internal Medicine (ACVIM) or completion of an approved residency, eligible for board certification
- License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to collaborative, high-standards medicine
