Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

Join a boutique, purpose-built referral hospital that provides 24/7, 365 days a year care. The facility specializes in critical care, internal medicine, surgery, oncology, anaesthetics, dermatology, exotics, and progressive general practice. The Diagnostic Imaging department is currently expanding and offers a collaborative and dynamic environment for a dedicated Imaging Specialist.

Departments

You will be part of a growing and vibrant Diagnostic Imaging department, working closely with specialists in critical care, surgery, oncology, internal medicine, and other specialist departments to deliver comprehensive care to patients.

Equipment

The hospital is equipped with a full complement of state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging tools, including:

  • One dedicated ultrasound room
  • One dedicated echocardiogram room
  • Digital radiography suite
  • 128 Slice GE CT scanner
  • 1.5T Siemens MRI
  • Interventional radiology (Fluoroscopy)

Staffing Levels

The Diagnostic Imaging team includes visiting specialist radiologists, radiographers, dedicated imaging nurses, and rotating interns. The hospital also works closely with specialists across a range of other departments to provide comprehensive care.

Type of Individual Sought

We are seeking a dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Specialist who has achieved diplomate or equivalent status (ACVR/ECVDI/FANZCVS), or a residency-trained candidate with a passion for patient care and collaboration. The role involves providing diagnostic imaging services for both outpatient and in-hospital patients, as well as mentoring and training interns.

Qualifications Required

Candidates must hold diplomate status in Diagnostic Imaging (ACVR/ECVDI/FANZCVS) or be residency-trained in veterinary diagnostic imaging.
