An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Veterinary Ultrasonographer to join a busy 24-hour emergency and critical care hospital in Singapore.

This full-time position is ideal for an imaging professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality diagnostic support while working alongside emergency clinicians in a modern, fast-paced veterinary environment.

You'll play a key role in providing advanced ultrasound imaging services, supporting clinical decision-making, and contributing to the continued development of the hospital's diagnostic imaging capabilities.

About the Role

As the Veterinary Ultrasonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations for both hospitalised patients and referred outpatient cases.

Working closely with veterinarians and the wider clinical team, you will provide accurate and timely imaging reports that support the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you'll help maintain imaging standards, support equipment management, and share your expertise by training colleagues in ultrasound techniques and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

Performing comprehensive abdominal and focused ultrasound examinations on small animal patients.
Scanning both inpatients and externally referred cases.
Producing accurate and timely diagnostic reports for patient medical records.
Collaborating closely with veterinarians to support clinical decision-making.
Training and mentoring veterinary colleagues in ultrasound techniques and equipment use.
Assisting with the development of imaging protocols and clinical best practices.
Providing recommendations regarding imaging equipment and future technology investments.
Ensuring ultrasound equipment is maintained to the highest standard and coordinating servicing with equipment suppliers when required.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

Essential

An Advanced Diploma or Degree in Ultrasonography, Veterinary Medicine or Veterinary Technology.
A minimum of three years' clinical experience performing small animal diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
Strong knowledge of abdominal and soft tissue ultrasonography.
Excellent attention to detail and diagnostic reporting skills.
The ability to work confidently within a busy emergency and referral environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A collaborative, team-focused approach to patient care.
