The Role
- Lead and perform a broad range of soft-tissue and orthopedic procedures, supported by advanced imaging and in-house specialty services
- Conduct thorough consultations and medical work-ups; develop and execute diagnostic and treatment plans
- Manage perioperative care, including anesthesia planning, pain management, and postoperative recovery
- Collaborate with emergency and specialty teams on high-acuity cases; participate in daily rounds to ensure continuity of care
- Communicate clearly with clients and referring veterinarians; provide education and follow-up
- Prescribe medications and maintain compliance with controlled substance protocols
- Contribute to protocol development, quality improvement, and a positive, efficient team environment

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Board-certified or residency trained in small animal surgery
- Eligible for and able to obtain Tennessee veterinary licensure
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment, surgical proficiency, and collaborative communication skills
- Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient and client care
