The Hospital

- 24-7 emergency and specialty referral hospital with active services in emergency and critical care, internal medicine, surgery, oncology, diagnostic imaging, and dermatology
- Board-certified specialists and credentialed technicians working in a coordinated model with ER-ICU teams, clinical coordinators, and dedicated administration
- On-site advanced imaging: MRI, CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and digital radiography
- In-house STAT laboratory for rapid diagnostics
- ICU-level monitoring and therapeutic capabilities, including continuous ECG and blood pressure monitoring, blood gas analysis, respiratory support, mechanical ventilation, transfusion therapy, and advanced pain and critical care support

The Role
- Provide comprehensive oncology consultations, case workups, and staging using in-house diagnostics and imaging
- Develop individualized treatment plans and oversee chemotherapy and related medical oncology therapies
- Collaborate closely with internal medicine, surgery, diagnostic imaging, emergency, and ICU teams for integrated care
- Guide clinical staff, participate in rounds, and support ER-ICU clinicians with oncology input
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners, ensuring informed decisions and thorough follow-up
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and professional training initiatives

Requirements
- DVM or equivalent
- Board-certified in Medical Oncology or residency-trained and board-eligible
- Current New York veterinary license or ability to obtain
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset and comfort managing complex, high-acuity cases in a 24-7 referral environment
