The Role
- Provide consultations, advanced diagnostics, and inpatient management for neurological cases in a busy, 24/7 specialty setting
- Utilize on-site MRI, CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, and other modalities to guide diagnosis and treatment
- Collaborate closely with Emergency and Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, and Dermatology to deliver integrated care
- Lead medical and, where applicable, surgical management of neurological disorders
- Participate in ICU rounds, offering guidance on neurologically complex patients requiring advanced monitoring, mechanical ventilation, or transfusion support
- Support protocol development, team education, and high-quality client and referring-veterinarian communication

Requirements
- DVM or equivalent
- Board-certified in Neurology or residency-trained and board-eligible
- License to practice in New York (or ability to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
