The Role
- Provide high-quality medical and, where applicable, surgical neurology care for a varied inpatient and outpatient caseload
- Utilize advanced diagnostics, including MRI, CT, digital radiography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and in-house laboratory resources
- Collaborate closely with internal medicine, surgery, oncology, ophthalmology, emergency, and radiology teams for comprehensive case management
- Guide and mentor technicians and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care and client communication
- Participate in hospital rounds, case reviews, and quality-improvement initiatives
- Engage in referral communications and contribute to the hospital’s continuing education and community outreach efforts

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Board-certified in Neurology (ACVIM) or residency-trained with board eligibility
- License to practice veterinary medicine in New Mexico (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
