The Role

• Provide comprehensive internal medicine consultations, diagnostics and treatments for primary, urgent and referral cases
• Collaborate daily with emergency/critical care and specialty teams in surgery, oncology, dermatology, cardiology, anesthesiology and diagnostic imaging
• Utilize advanced diagnostics including digital imaging, ultrasound, CT and MRI-level studies, plus endoscopy/fluoroscopy and in-house lab capabilities
• Direct patient care plans, maintain clear communication with families and referring veterinarians, and contribute to case rounds and mentorship
• Full-time or part-time options available

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree
• Current New York license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Board-certified in Internal Medicine or residency trained and board-eligible
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Strong communication, teamwork and client service skills
