The Role
- Lead diagnosis and management of complex internal medicine cases in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Utilize advanced imaging and in-house laboratory capabilities to drive timely, evidence-based decision making
- Collaborate closely with emergency/critical care, surgery, cardiology, oncology, and diagnostic imaging for coordinated treatment plans
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and referring veterinarians, ensuring continuity and quality of care
- Participate in hospital rounds, case reviews, and a teaching-focused environment; contribute to protocol development and quality improvement

Requirements
- DVM/VMD or equivalent
- Board-certified by ACVIM (Small Animal Internal Medicine) or residency trained and board-eligible
- License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
