The Role
- Provide specialty internal medicine consultation and case management for referral and emergency-transferred patients.
- Perform and interpret advanced diagnostics, including ultrasound-based assessments, coordination of CT imaging, and procedures in dedicated endoscopy suites where clinically indicated.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans and oversee inpatient care with strong technician and administrative support.
- Collaborate closely with emergency, surgery, rehabilitation and other specialty services; lead and participate in daily rounds.
- Communicate promptly and professionally with referring veterinarians and client families, ensuring continuity of care.
- Contribute to protocol development, quality improvement and team training.
- Primarily weekday, daytime service with a balanced schedule; occasional case support as needed.

Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Board-certified (DACVIM or equivalent) in Small Animal Internal Medicine, or residency-trained and eligible for board examination
- Eligible for and able to obtain licensure to practice in British Columbia
- Eligible to work in Canada
