The Role
- Provide expert internal medicine consultations and manage an advanced referral caseload.
- Utilize on-site diagnostics such as CT, MRI, ultrasound, digital radiography and fluoroscopy, and collaborate with interventional radiology as appropriate.
- Partner closely with Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, Neurology, and Oncology for integrated, high-quality patient care.
- Oversee inpatient case management with ICU collaboration, including complex and multi-day cases.
- Communicate clearly with clients and referring veterinarians, ensuring continuity and outstanding service.
- Participate in teaching rounds, mentorship, and ongoing professional development activities.
- Contribute to a positive, safety-focused, and team-oriented clinical culture.

Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- License to practice in New York (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Board certification in Small Animal Internal Medicine or completion of a recognized residency program
