A premier specialty and emergency hospital in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Internist with compensation up to $300,000. This position offers the chance to practice advanced medicine in a collaborative, referral-driven setting.

The Role
- Provide internal medicine consultations and advanced case management for a diverse referral caseload
- Lead diagnostic workups using on-site imaging and laboratory resources, and coordinate multidisciplinary care plans
- Collaborate closely with emergency and critical care teams for seamless patient handoffs and ICU support
- Communicate effectively with clients and referring veterinarians, delivering clear updates and discharge plans
- Contribute to clinical protocols, patient safety initiatives, and knowledge sharing through rounds and case reviews

Requirements
- Board-certified in Small Animal Internal Medicine (DACVIM) or residency trained in internal medicine
- Eligible for and able to obtain a license to practice veterinary medicine in Virginia
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach
