Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

This practice is a member of a rapidly expanding network, currently composed of 15 veterinary practices across Switzerland, with approximately 130 dedicated professionals. Our team is focused on providing exceptional veterinary care, guided by a culture of excellence and collaboration among our veterinarians. You will have access to a well-equipped medical office and the support of a network that prioritizes continuous training and professional development.

Departments

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, working alongside skilled veterinary doctors, while being part of a larger network that fosters collaboration and knowledge-sharing among more than 50 veterinarians. The practice offers a supportive environment where you can contribute your expertise and lead the medical and operational development of the team.

Equipment

This practice is equipped with modern medical tools to ensure the highest standard of veterinary care. You'll have access to advanced diagnostic and treatment equipment, enabling you to provide comprehensive care for your patients.

Staffing Levels

You will lead a team of veterinary professionals, supported by the Swissvet Group's administrative, financial, and operational teams. This structure allows you to focus on the medical management of the practice while efficiently delegating operational tasks to your team.

Type of Individual Sought

We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Doctor with strong experience in feline and canine medicine, who is also interested in leading a managerial and entrepreneurial project. You will be responsible for the preventive, medical, and surgical tasks of the practice while managing the operational aspects of the team. Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to delegate effectively. Fluency in French and German is required.

Qualifications Required

  • Qualified Veterinary Doctor
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in feline/canine medicine
  • Strong leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent technical skills in veterinary medicine
  • Fluency in French and German
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in operational management
