Veterinary Dentist (Board Certified / Diplomate / Residency Trained)

The Hospital
This is an AAHA-accredited, feline-only, full-service hospital known for high-quality, compassionate care and a calm, low-stress environment. Appointments are intentionally longer, and fear-free handling is standard to support thoughtful medicine and clear client communication. The caseload includes a high volume of geriatric and complex internal medicine cases, alongside routine wellness, offering meaningful clinical variety. On-site resources include an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, diagnostic imaging, and an on-site pharmacy. Board-certified specialists provide in-house abdominal ultrasound, echocardiography, and advanced dentistry collaboration. The team is collegial and well-supported, with experienced technicians, organized workflows, and a culture that values professional growth, mentorship, and wellbeing. The hospital operates six days a week, including Saturdays.

The Role
- Perform comprehensive feline examinations, workups, and treatment plans
- Manage complex internal medicine and geriatric cases, with wellness care as needed
- Utilize in-house diagnostics and imaging; collaborate with on-site specialist services
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, including education and follow-up
- Maintain accurate medical records and support smooth, efficient team workflows
- Adhere to fear-free handling and longer appointment standards for low-stress care
- Surgical and dental procedures available if desired
- Weekend availability welcomed; Friday and Saturday shifts are often in demand

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Active or eligibility for Washington state veterinary license and DEA registration
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Applicants must be board-certified or residency trained
- Demonstrated commitment to feline medicine, low-stress handling, and high standards of care
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
