Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

This animal hospital will be a 24/7 emergency and multi-specialty center located in a 20,000-square-foot facility in the northeastern quadrant of Atlanta, near Brookhaven and North Druid Hills. The hospital is designed to support advanced veterinary care and will house a growing team of specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, Emergency & Critical Care, and Cardiology. The environment is built to foster seamless collaboration and exceptional patient outcomes.

Departments

The Cardiology service will work closely with Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Radiology, offering a comprehensive and integrated approach to cardiovascular diagnostics and treatment. The hospital's team-based model ensures continuity of care and a supportive clinical environment.

Equipment

The facility will be equipped with advanced diagnostic and interventional tools, including:

• Full-spectrum echocardiography (including Doppler and contrast studies)
• ECG, Holter, and telemetry monitoring
• Radiographic and blood pressure diagnostics
• Interventional capabilities such as PDA occlusion, balloon valvuloplasty, pacemaker placement, and vascular stenting
• Emergency procedures including pericardiocentesis and heartworm extraction
