About the Role
As a Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing a wide variety of complex medical cases, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest standards of specialist veterinary care.

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing specialist consultations and comprehensive medical examinations.
Investigating and managing complex internal medicine cases.
Interpreting advanced diagnostic imaging and laboratory results.
Developing individual treatment plans for referred patients.
Utilising specialised diagnostic and medical equipment.
Collaborating with specialists across surgery, oncology, emergency and critical care.
Providing clear communication and ongoing support to referring veterinarians and pet owners.
Contributing to the continued development of the Internal Medicine service.
Mentoring interns, residents and junior clinicians where appropriate.

The Internal Medicine service manages a diverse referral caseload across a broad range of disciplines, including:

What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates who possess:
Essential
Diplomate status with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS), ACVIM, ECVIM or an equivalent recognised qualification.
Eligibility for veterinary registration in Australia.
Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
