Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

This animal clinic is the largest in French-speaking Switzerland, with state-of-the-art facilities. The clinic serves as both a referral and emergency center, operating 24/7 with a high case turnover. The team consists of board-certified specialists in a variety of fields, including Anesthesia, Cardiology, Surgery, Dentistry, Diagnostic Imaging, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Ophthalmology.

Departments

The Diagnostic Imaging department is currently composed of a Diplomate ECVDI, a PgCSADI certificate holder, a diagnostic imaging intern, and a radiology technician. The team collaborates closely with the clinic's multidisciplinary services to provide top-tier diagnostic imaging.

Equipment

The clinic is equipped with the latest imaging technology, including:

  • GE Optima 16-slice CT
  • GE Logiq S7 ultrasound machine
  • Agfa digital radiography
  • Digital GE Elite II C-arm

All imaging equipment is connected to a RIS and PACS system, ensuring efficient workflow and storage of diagnostic data.

Staffing Levels

This large team of board-certified specialists and highly trained support staff fosters a collaborative environment, with a focus on providing comprehensive care for both internal and external cases.

Type of Individual Sought

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Specialist who values teamwork and has a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, performing high-quality imaging procedures, contributing to the clinical teaching of interns, and liaising with referring clinicians.

Qualifications Required

  • ECVDI or ACVR certification (board-eligible candidates will also be considered)
  • Eligible to register as a veterinarian in Switzerland
  • Proficiency in French (minimum B2 level, required for registration)
