Depending on your experience and interests, there may also be opportunities to contribute to service development, mentorship and clinical leadership.

The Role

As an Internal Medicine Specialist, you will manage complex medical cases requiring advanced investigation, diagnosis and treatment.

Internal Medicine encompasses a broad range of clinical disciplines, including:

• Gastroenterology
• Endocrinology
• Haematology
• Infectious diseases
• Cardiology
• Immunology
• Neurology
• Nephrology
• Respiratory medicine
• Oncology

Your role will include:

• Managing a diverse and challenging referral caseload
• Performing advanced diagnostic investigations
• Developing evidence-based treatment plans
• Interpreting laboratory and diagnostic findings
• Working closely with other specialist departments
• Collaborating with Emergency & Critical Care clinicians
• Communicating effectively with clients and referring veterinarians
• Participating in multidisciplinary case discussions
