This facility provides professional veterinary services to over 1400 active Thoroughbred racehorses across two state-of-the-art locations. It is part of a globally renowned horse racing organization known for its integrity, excellence, and innovation in equine care.

Departments

The role includes contributing to a multidisciplinary team dedicated to equine sports medicine, surgery, rehabilitation, and the overall health and wellness of active and retired racehorses.

Staffing Levels

The team comprises highly skilled veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff, working collaboratively to uphold a center-of-excellence approach to equine health care.

Type of Individual Sought

This role is ideal for veterinarians experienced in equine racetrack practice or those with advanced training in equine sports medicine, surgery, or related disciplines. The position requires strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to the success and sustainability of the equine racing industry.

Qualifications Required

• Veterinary degree eligible for registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board in Hong Kong (applications from non-registrable veterinarians with relevant experience will also be considered).
• Experience in equine racetrack medicine and Thoroughbred care.
• In-depth knowledge of the veterinary aspects of the racing industry.
• Post-graduate training or qualifications in equine sports medicine, surgery, or diagnostics are desirable but not essential.
