Diagnostic Imaging Specialist (Board Certified / Diplomate / Residency Trained)

A fantastic opportunity is available for a French-speaking small animal diagnostic imaging specialist to join a large, multidisciplinary team on the shores of Lake Leman.

Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information

Located in Lausanne, our clinic is the largest small animal veterinary facility in French-speaking Switzerland. It boasts superb facilities and a team of European and American board-certified specialists in various disciplines, including anaesthesia, cardiology, surgery, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, oncology, and ophthalmology. The clinic operates as both a referral and emergency center (24/7) and manages a high volume of cases.

Departments

As a diagnostic imaging specialist, you will work alongside a team consisting of one ECVDI diplomate, one certificate holder in PgCSADI, a diagnostic imaging intern, and a radiology technician. Collaboration with specialists across the clinic is key, providing you with a dynamic and varied work environment.

Equipment

The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging technology, including:

  • GE Optima 16-slice CT scanner
  • GE Logiq S7 ultrasound
  • Agfa DR system
  • Digital GE Elite II C-arm All equipment is integrated with RIS and PACS for efficient workflow.

Type of Individual Sought

We are looking for an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist with exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will be an ECVDI or ACVR diplomate or board-eligible. The candidate should also be eligible to register as a veterinarian in Switzerland and have at least a B2 level of French to fulfill registration requirements.

Qualifications Required

  • ECVDI or ACVR diplomate or board-eligible
  • Eligible for veterinary registration in Switzerland
  • At least B2 level of French (mandatory for registration)
  • Previous experience in diagnostic imaging in a small animal setting
