We are a privately owned, multidisciplinary small animal referral hospital in Melbourne. The hospital is staffed 24/7 with onsite specialists across surgery, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, and other key disciplines. Our specialists are supported by an outstanding team of interns, nurses, HR, and client services staff.

The hospital is located in Melbourne with excellent access to transport links, major arterials, and onsite parking. The facility includes a 64-slice helical CT scanner, C-arm video fluoroscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, DR radiography, multiple human hospital-grade theatres, and space allocated for a 1.5T MRI.

About the Role

Our Veterinary Radiologists play a key role in providing advanced diagnostic imaging services using the latest technology and techniques. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality imaging interpretation and support clinical decision-making across a wide range of specialties.

We are seeking a dynamic team player who is willing to collaborate across all departments while contributing to the continued growth of a first-class imaging service. Subspecialty interests will be strongly supported and encouraged.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging interpretation and reporting
  • Perform and support advanced imaging procedures (CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, radiography, and MRI development)
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, internal medicine specialists, and other clinicians
  • Support and supervise residents and trainees through structured teaching and mentoring
  • Communicate findings clearly and effectively to clinical teams and clients where appropriate
  • Contribute to ongoing clinical improvement, service development, and innovation
  • Work alongside experienced nurses and interns to maintain high standards of patient care

What We're Looking For

  • Veterinary degree registrable in Victoria, or willingness to apply for special registration and sit the Australasian Veterinary Examination
  • Specialist qualification in Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging (FANZCVS, ECVDI, or ACVR), currently registered or eligible for specialist registration in Victoria
  • Residency-trained candidates will also be considered
  • Significant experience in all areas of veterinary diagnostic imaging
  • Strong commitment to high-quality patient care

  • Ability to lead, mentor, and support junior staff
