Your Role as Medical Director & Partner

In this role, you will lead both the clinical and cultural direction of the hospital. Responsibilities include:
• Providing high-quality, client-centered veterinary care
• Leading and mentoring veterinary associates and support staff
• Promoting preventive medicine and consistent care standards
• Collaborating on hiring, scheduling, and training alongside hospital leadership
• Engaging clients through modern communication tools, including telemedicine and digital platforms
• Participating in budgeting, strategic planning, and performance reviews
• Acting as a representative of the practice within the community


Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent from an accredited veterinary program
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice veterinary medicine in Connecticut
• 4-5 years of clinical experience preferred
• Proven leadership skills and a passion for team development
• Strong client communication and service orientation
• Interest in business ownership and a growth mindset
• Comfortable using technology to enhance patient care and client experience
• Fear Free and/or HABRI certification (or willingness to obtain)
