Veterinarian

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinarian to join this fantastic team.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional medical care to patients while building trusted relationships with pet owners. In this role, you'll perform physical exams, surgeries, and dental procedures, and play a key role in educating clients on optimal pet health. Every pet and client should be treated like family.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong rapport with clients to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Perform thorough physical exams and deliver high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care.
  • Clearly explain exam findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans to clients.
  • Provide preventive care guidance, including vaccines, nutrition, and wellness education.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in accordance with hospital protocols.
  • Stay current on advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education.
  • Mentor and support veterinary technicians and paraprofessional staff.
  • Represent the practice positively in the professional community and to the public.
  • Uphold a compassionate, client-focused approach with every patient interaction.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution
  • Active veterinary license in good standing in the practicing state
  • DEA license (or eligibility)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for collaboration
  • Dedication to practicing high-quality, ethical medicine
  • Surgical proficiency is a plus
