A well-established, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in Greece, serving the greater Rochester area, is seeking a Medical Director to lead a collaborative, high-quality small animal practice. This role combines hands-on clinical work with strategic leadership, mentorship, and team development, making it ideal for veterinarians passionate about both medicine and guiding a supportive, high-performing hospital culture.

About the Role

The Medical Director will partner with the practice manager and leadership team to:
• Shape the hospital's vision and standards of care
• Implement improvements and strategic initiatives to drive excellence
• Mentor and support medical staff while fostering professional growth
• Promote a positive, collaborative culture rooted in both clinical and client excellence

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited institution (or equivalent)
• Active veterinary license in New York (or eligible prior to start date)
• Active DEA license (or eligible)
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills

Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
• Friday: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

• Starting base salary from $180,000+ annually, with production incentives and no negative accrual
