VET PRACTICE MANAGER

Global Talent Partners is partnering with a growing independent veterinary group to appoint a Regional Veterinary Operations Manager to support and develop practices across North Carolina, covering the Raleigh and Charlotte areas.

This is a senior, field-based leadership role which would be ideal for experienced multi-site practice managers, regional leaders, or veterinary industry professionals with strong operational and people-management experience. The successful candidate will take ownership of operational performance across four sites initially, with clear plans to expand to eight practices within the next 1224 months. This role will be central to that growth journey.

The Opportunity

This position is ideal for someone who:
  • Has led or supported multiple veterinary sites
  • Enjoys being hands-on and visible in practices
  • Wants to play a key role in scaling an independent group
  • Brings strong commercial, leadership, and operational insight
  • The role is predominantly on site, with frequent travel between Raleigh and Charlotte. Some administrative work will be done from home, but the priority is being present in practices to support teams and performance.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $100,000 $125,000
  • Profit share linked to practice performance
  • Earning potential: $200k+ as the group expands
  • 401(k): 4% employer contribution

Key Responsibilities

Provide operational leadership across 4 veterinary practices, growing to 8 sites over the next 12 years
  • Act as a key contributor to practice growth, scalability, and performance improvement
  • Support Practice Managers with:
  • Hiring and team development
  • Day-to-day operational challenges
  • Leadership coaching and accountability
  • Participate in weekly leadership meetings with PMs and group leadership
  • Oversee budgets, financial performance, and KPIs
  • Contribute to strategic planning, process improvement, and long-term group objectives
  • Maintain a strong on-site presence, building trust and alignment across teams

Background & Fit (High-Level)

  • Prior experience within the veterinary industry is essential
  • Strong leadership background, ideally across multiple locations
  • Suitable for candidates from:
