Associate Veterinarian

We are seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join a dedicated team in beautiful Nantucket, Massachusetts.

About the Role

As an Associate Veterinarian, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality wellness, sick care, diagnostics, surgery, and dental services for a wide range of companion animals. You'll build long-term relationships with clients and their pets, becoming a trusted partner in their care through all stages of life.

Ideal Candidate

  • Comfortable with general practice and urgent care appointments
  • Skilled or interested in diagnostics, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry
  • Committed to excellent patient care and client communication
  • Team-oriented and adaptable in a collaborative clinical setting

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent
  • Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Massachusetts
  • Active DEA license or eligibility

About the Practice

This is a full-service small animal and exotic care hospital serving the Nantucket community. Services include urgent care, general wellness, dentistry, surgery, acupuncture, and advanced diagnostics for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, and pocket pets.

The practice blends small-town connection with access to modern tools and technology, supported by a highly skilled and compassionate team. The focus is on delivering high-quality care in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Hours

  • Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Closed weekends and major holidays
